I started running trails in college in Montana, then started running ultras in 2002. I upped the ante a bit when I moved to Seattle in 2005 and started working with world-class ultrarunners at Seattle Running Company. As I learned how to get more from my body, I found a passion for massage therapy. I combined my fascination with the body and my desire to help people live more healthy lives into a massage therapy career. I quickly realized the mountains were where I needed to be, and moved to the Methow Valley in Washington’s North Cascade mountains in 2008. There I found my pro-skier fiance in a bike shop (good find) and now live our happy lives with our husky in Mazama.
